New Parent Moments

The moment we officially became parents seemed to happen fast and slow all at the same time.  One minute I was pregnant in a hospital bed, and the next I was holding an entirely new person who had just entered the world. It was surreal and overwhelming and incredible.

Life has been a bit of a blur since then, as we have become completely immersed in the world of newborn parenthood. So far this adventure mainly consists of changing, feeding, burping, and holding this little guy, all while trying to sleep whenever possible. :)

We have especially been enjoying moments of smiling at cute faces, holding little fingers, tickling tiny feet, and just loving this sweet boy. We are so glad he is finally here! 

Anniversary + Waiting Moments

I feel lucky to have spent the last 3 years married to this guy. It has been so fun to have shared these years together, just the two of us.

 We weren't sure what our anniversary would look like this year, but we were able to celebrate and enjoy some continued time together as a couple since our baby is still "wombing."

Our lives are set to change sometime soon, and we are anxiously waiting to start sharing in new adventures together as a family of three.
